Last evening, a friend and I rushed to Agnes Scott's Bradley Observatory for an anticipated Klimchak performance with Celestial Light Show....After a GPS misinterpretation, we scurried through the brisk, cold, dark night. I ahhh'd at the details of the moon as obscurring clouds moved away to reveal the almost-full silver orb, my companion nervously upping our pace, watching our footwork and my typical lolly-gagging about, as we arrived just in time. Unfortunately, Klimchak's MYSPACE page had listed the wrong time......This journey was not a lost opportunity, for as we searched for a parking place outside the Observatory, I came across a stack of worn and discarded posters, choosing the one shown above as a consolation.....and an image for this blog.....my friend was distraught and angry, then depressed by having missed the performance......had she noticed the Moon, I wondered.......the "half-full"/"half-empty" perspective.....
